Friends of the Earth (HK)
www.foe.org.hk
Established in 1983, Friends of the Earth (HK) is a registered charity, dedicated to protecting and improving the environment locally and regionally through education, research and campaigns. Our goal is to raise public awareness, monitor environmental protection work, and promote sustainable development in Hong Kong. We have a membership of more than 3000 individuals.
Because FoE (HK) receives no regular funding from the government, we depend on the support of corporate and public contributions, as well as numerous volunteers. As one of Hong Kong's most prominent green groups, FoE (HK) has been catalyzing the community environmental debate and shaping policy change. |
