Invite the public to design animated e-Cards under the theme of "Wish a Green World this Xmas" to demonstrate eco-friendly ways to share the joy of Christmas and a new year.

The winning designs will be chosen and featured on the website of the organizer beginning December 2008.

The competition aroused good choices of e-Cards and established the opportunity for the public to send to their friends via the Internet freely. FoE (HK) will turn the winning ideas into an electronic format that is user-friendly and practical, be able to use by individuals that allows receiverˇ¦s name and personal greeting message to be incorporated by the sender.

It gives an option for the sender to choose donating the money that they have saved on buying paper cards to FoE (HK).

The winning e-Cards will be announced in the joint greeting advertisements on Friday, 12 December 2008 in Mingpao and SCMP.

Winners will be notified individually to receive their prizes at the soft presentation holds in the venue provided by The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited in December 2008.
