Objective and Background

The Take a “Brake” Low Carbon Action – Corporate Green Driving Award Scheme 2014 is a green initiative convened by Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited, organised by Friends of the Earth (HK) and sponsored by the Standard Chartered Hong Kong 150th Anniversary Community Foundation. The scheme is fully supported by Environmental Protection Department (EPD) and was first started in 2010. The objective is to encourage people to drive less and adopt green driving habits, as well as to promote low carbon living among non-drivers.
