Friends
of the Earth (HK) will host a public forum*
on green consumption and sustainable development
on Saturday, March 13. Speaking at the forum
will include Mr Xia Kunbao, co-ordinator of
the China Office of the United Nations Environment
Programme (UNEP), Ms Chen Man-li, president
of Taiwan Homemakers Union Foundation, Mrs Chan
Wong Shu, chief executive of Consumer Council,
and Mr Otto Poon, former Chairperson of Waste
Reduction Committee.
Admission is free. Priority will be given to
FoE (HK) members. To participate, please fill
out the following registration form and fax
it to 2529 5588 or email your registration to
chris@foe.org.hk.
* The forum will be conducted mainly in Cantonese
and Mandarin. Interpretation service (Cantonese/Mandarin
into English) can be provided upon request.

提起環保，大部分人只想到空氣、海水的污染，又或者是廢物堆積問題。大家可否想過，我們浪費的消費模式，才是很多環保問題的根源，也是推動可持續發展的障礙。
想多了解更多消費與環保的關係，歡迎參加香港地球之友於3月13日
(星期六)舉辦的「綠色消費與可持續發展論壇」，費用全免，論壇並設公開討論時段。而講者包括聯合國環境規劃署中國辦事處負責人夏�珜虪鮃矷A台灣主婦聯盟環環境保護基金會董事長陳曼麗女士，香港消費者委員會總幹事陳黃穗女士，前減少廢物委員會主席潘樂陶先生，其他「猛人」容後公佈。 |
