REGULATIONS & GUIDELINES  

1.
Each entry must be accompanied by a completed on-line enrolment form and uploaded to the designated on-line platform together before the deadline (24th January 2008).

2.
Each entrant can submit more than one entry to the Organizer, multiple entries must complete separate on-line enrolment forms for each entry.

3.
Every entry submitted must be the original work of the entrant who should ensure there is no infringement of the rights (including copyright) of others.

4.
Entries should not have been submitted previously to other programmes, competitions or have been on public display prior to this award scheme.

5.
All entries submitted to the award scheme will become the property of the Organizer and the Sponsor who can use the artwork, including but not limited to website, publication, exhibition, or editing as they decide appropriate without payment of royalty to the entrants.

6.
Once finalists are selected, the Organizer will arrange to sign an “Assignment” with all finalists (Assignors). All finalists acknowledge to transfer and assign all the rights in and arising from the submitted entries (including the copyright and other intellectual property rights subsisting in each design) to the Organizer and the Sponsor.

7.
Request for exchange or return of the artwork submitted will not be entertained after submission.

8.
The Organizer reserves the right to accept or reject any application, and while every care will be taken, is not liable for any loss or damage of the submitted entries.

9.
The Organizer reserves the right to interpret and amend any of the Regulations of the award scheme at any time without prior notice. In the case of any dispute as to the interpretation of the Regulations of the award scheme, the Organizer's decision shall be final.

10.
All entrants agree to abide by the Regulations above.


"Maxim's" as used in any name, logo or trademark in any restaurants in Hong Kong and any intellectual property right therein belong to Maxim's Caterers Limited, a company operating in Hong Kong.
