Friends of the Earth (HK) started the Used Printer Cartridge Reuse & Recycling programme with OPAC International Limited in December 2011. The used printer cartridges will be sent for refill or recycle depending on their condition.
We welcome all housing estates, property management companies, schools, corporations and other organizations to participate in the “Used Printer Cartridge Reuse & Recycling Programme”

Where to dispose
1. Long-term recycling bins
Wrap the toner or printer cartridges to protect other recyclables from ink contamination, and dispose them of through the right slot into the clothes collection bins.
2. Door to door recycling services
If your company / estate has no room for long term placement of the clothes recycling bins, it is recommended to call FoE (HK) to take them away when the collected number of ink and toner cartridges reaches 10 or more.

Participation
Participation for either long-term or short-term cartridge recycling programme is required to fill in the application form and return it to us. The completed form can be sent by email to foehk@foe.org.hk, or by fax to 2529-2777, or call the hotline at 2528-5588. (Collection service is not provided to outlying islands and remote areas.)
