“Low Carbon Life” is the leading theme of the Earth Partner 2009-2010. The programme encourages members of participating organizations to use multi-faceted tools involving an action-driven approach to reduce individual carbon emissions in the office and living environment.

Climate change is a pressing environmental issue. The CO2 emissions reduction goal set by the experts of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change is 50% to 85% by year 2050. That would require emissions to stop increasing as early as year 2015.

Please do not underestimate the effort of individuals. Everyone on Earth can incorporate some eco-friendly steps into their daily lives and to conserve the environment. FoE (HK) will provide all participating Earth Partners with practical guidelines on how to implement a low carbon lifestyle.
