To accelerate the development of Green and Sustainable Finance in Hong Kong, Friends of the Earth (HK) has been actively nurturing talents and working on capacity building for the industry. The Centre for Green and Sustainable Finance, initiated by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) and the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC), launched the Pilot Green and Sustainable Finance Capacity Building Support Scheme (“the Scheme”) recently.
As the official partner of The European Federation of Financial Analyst Societies (EFFAS) to promote the Certified ESG Analyst (CESGA) Programme in Hong Kong, we are delighted to announce that the CESGA Programme (Code: GTP-260223) and our Executive Certificate course in ESG Analysis & Green Finance Valuation (Code: GTP-691229) have been approved as one of the Eligible Programmes under the Pilot Green and Sustainable Finance Capacity Building Support Scheme, (https://www.greentalent.org.hk/). Eligible applicants may apply for reimbursement of relevant fees upon successful completion, subject to a ceiling of HK$10,000*.
The CESGA Programme is an internationally accredited certification and a comprehensive tool made by professional practitioners and scholars. It covers all relevant topics that an ESG expert needs. Registration is open throughout the entire year. The new round of the Friends of the Earth (HK) Executive Certificate course will begin in 2023. Please stay tuned for updates.
